After completing 12th grade, students are generally confused about which course to be taken as a career. Courses after Class 12th Commerce
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is 3 years long course that most of the 12th Commerce stream students pursue after schooling! This course is popular because the level of difficulty associated with this particular course is not too high. Therefore, it is relatively easy to pursue B.Com. program and obtain a Degree.
Students after completing 12th class in Commerce stream can start off by applying for Common Proficiency Test (CPT), managed by ICAI. Once the test is cleared, students have to appear for CA (Chartered Accountancy). Once they completed C.A. Inter exam, one may appear for C.A. final exam! Once they clear the final exam, students have to complete Chartered Accountancy test and become a C.A.! Once they become a C.A., they can take up positions related to Finance department in Private companies as well as Government organizations.
Usually, it is commonly seen that graduates are allowed to pursue L.L.B course. But according to the new rules, it is also possible for students who have passed 12th class in Commerce stream can take up a Law course from Law schools after schooling. In order to take this course, students will have to select an integrated Law course and these integrated courses last 5 years. It’s a combination of a Degree course and traditional L.L.B. course. If we talk about the career opportunities, at the beginning, students may take up their career in any law firm. Also, after gaining few years of experience, one can start up on his/her own private practice and can start a law firm.
When it comes to Journalism and Mass Communication field, Diploma, as well as Degree programs, are available. The duration of the programs varies from 1-3 years. Talking about career opportunities, students can get a job in news channels and media houses, both print, and digital media.
